Two Story
On June 25th we set a 3000 sq.ft. two story in Brattleboro, VT. This home was set on an existing foundation which the customer had to remove the roof before we could set the home. This project took us just under 2 weeks to complete. The finish work that needed to be done was drywall on marriage lines, floor transitions, siding on the gable ends, roof shingles for the top 5' of roof and soffit/fascia installation. The plumbing connections between units and electrical was completed by the homeowners contractors. This is, so far, the quickest timeframe for finishing a home and High Performance Modular would like to say thank you to the contractors who made it possible.

Cape set
High Performance Modular Homes had another successful set on Friday March 26, 2010. We are currently in the process of doing what we call the button up of the home so that the customer can move in by April 25th. This house is a 4 box cape with an attached garage which we had built in the factory vs on-site. This was a rather long day for a set as we took delivery on the same morning due to the posted roads and restrictions we had to face. All in all everything went very well and at 7:00 p.m. everyone was packed up and ready to go home. Many thanks to Blake and Alex who worked over the weekend to make sure the home was weather tight before the rain hit on Monday.
Today there are plumbers on site and the heating system will be up and running by the end of the week. The finish carpenters are also inside working diligently on their part of the project and on Wed. we will have the electrical to the house and well on our way to meeting our deadline.
This home is being constructed for David and Denise Russo and their 3 children. It has been a pleasure working with them thru the many months of planning.
We will keep you updated to the progress and if you would like to see some pictures take a look at our Facebook page ( HighPerformance ModularHomes ).

What we do
We build modular homes for the public with experience in General Contracting over 200 homes, last year we built 8 with 3 already in the schedule for this year. We build with a higher specification that the competition including 16" O.C. roof, exterior walls and floor, plywood sheathing on roof walls and floor, R21 exterior wall insulation, R38 ceiling insulation & a radiant barrier house wrap for added energy efficiency. We also offer some other options which we can incorporate for a very reasonable cost such as triple pane windows, high efficiency boilers and more. We believe customers should get what they need and pay the least amount possible after all we do live in the North Country and warmth is definetly required.
We are able to offer affordable homes since we do not have a large model home center like most of the modular competition. Most of the items mentioned above are an upgrade to the consumer if available at all by other modular home dealers. I have seen many homes built which do not have the proper insulation, built with 2x4 walls with R11 insulation or no ceiling lights because they are an option and the sales person forgot to mention it. When you build with High Performance Modular you do not have to worry about those things we think of them for you. This is why we ask our customers to always compare the specifications or let us do it for you and we can show you the differences in specifications and pricing if any.
We are setting the schedule for spring already and would love to build a home for you if you are ready. Take a look at our website and contact us for more information.

How we began
Hello all, I want to start out by saying welcome to the New Year and all that is has to offer! So far I have had much success with the modular home industry and find that people are still in need of homes despite the struggling economy. I am a home builder who not only offers low pricing but also give the customer more house for their dollar. Building homes is not easy and most people have a hard time deciding who is a trustworthy contractor. It is a learning experience as everything in life and believe that I have had enough of a learning curve to find that I have several highly qualified and reliable contractors on my team of which without I would not be experiencing the success I have over the last couple years.
I have been building homes for the public for the last 7 years of which the last 2 on my own. I learned the trade working for another modular home company for the first 5 doing scheduling, working closely with contractors, sales staff, customers and factory representatives before I decided to go out on my own and use my skills to my full potential.
I currently have an office located in Williston, Vt on Park Avenue with 1600 sq.ft including 2 offices and a confrence area for meeting with contractors and clients and to display the samples of modular home options.
I built 8 homes for customers all over the state of Vermont last year and have 3 under contract and ready to begin construction this winter. I think in a down economy that says something and am looking forward to making more people happy with their choice to build with High Performance Modular Homes.
